Hallo zusammen und herzlich willkommen!
Wir als Stv I-BW freuen uns sehr euch an unserer Fakultät der Wirtschaftswissenschaften im schönen Wien willkommen zu heißen! 😁
Für viele von Euch beginnt ein neuer Lebensabschnitt in einer neuen Stadt. Wir wissen, wie schwer es ist, sich am Anfang zurechtzufinden und haben für euch eine Ersti-Woche mit vielen Aktionen geplant, damit ihr euch sobald wie möglich in unser Stadt und Fakultät wohlfühlen könnt!😉
Folgendes haben wir für euch geplant:
Montag 02.10. – Welcome Day & Impro Theater
Unsere Fakultät veranstaltet am Montag einen Welcome Day, wo die Fakultät und deren Glieder (darunter auch wir :)) vorgestellt werden. Dies findet ab 9:00 zuerst im HS14 statt und geht u 09:45 weiter in der Sky Lounge (12 OG.). Genauere Infos zu dem Event findet ihr hier: Welcome Day Kommt gerne vorbei, wenn ihr Fragen habt oder einfach die schöne Aussicht mit einer Tasse Kaffe genießen 🙂
Am Abend bieten wir euch eine Impro-Show im Operschall (Heiligenstädter Straße 31) um 19:30 Uhr an. Bitte beachte, dass die Kapazitäten begrenzt sind, deswegen können wir nur 80 feste Plätze garantieren. Bitte meldet euch bei Interesse bei diesem Google Form an und ihr seid sicher dabei! 🤩
Am Abend bieten wir euch eine Impro-Show im Opernschall (Heiligenstädter Straße 31) um 19:30 Uhr an. Meldet euch einfach mit diesem Google Form an und ihr seid dabei! 😉
Wir haben eine Ermäßigung für euch ausgehandelt 😁 – wenn ihr euch ein Band bei uns holt zahlt ihr nur 5€ Eintritt. 😉
Dienstag 03.10. – Goodies & Speed Friending
Nachdem ihr eure ersten Vorlesungen überstanden habt, verteilen wir zwischen 11:00 und 11:30 Goodie Bags, sowohl vor Hörsaal 1 als auch bei den Stiegen. Kommt schnell, da wir nur solange verteilen, wie wir Goodies da haben! Aber keine Sorge solltet ihr es nicht schaffen, es wird noch ein Ersatztermin geben.
Ab 17:00 veranstalten wir ein Speed-Friending Event. Dort werdet ihr die Möglichkeiten haben, mit paar Snacks & Drinks Eure Studienkollegen näher kennenzulernen.😁 Es gibt euch die Chance viele neue Leute aus eurem Studiengang kennezulernen. Das Event findet im Votivpark statt. Wir freuen uns auf euch!
Mittwoch 04.10. – Alsergrund Challenge
Ihr habt die erste Hälfte der ersten Woche geschafft!
Nun wird es an der Zeit Alsergrund zu erkunden! Start ist um 15:30. Hierfür werdet ihr in Gruppen eingeteilt und werdet anhand von Hinweisen den Alsergrund erkunden. Je mehr Fragen ihr richtig habt, desto mehr Punkte gibt es und am Ende werden die Sieger im Restaurant Sägewerk gekürt. Natürlich bekommen die Sieger auch einen Preis von uns. Um teilnehmen zu können, füllt einfach folgendes Google Form aus.🤩
Die Anmeldung für die Alsergrund Challenge sind geschlossen. Wir freuen uns aber Euch auf unsere anderen Events begrüßen zu dürfen! Schaut bei Instagram vorbei um coole Events nicht zu verpassen!
Donnerstag 05.10. – Brunch & Loco
Am Donnerstag könnt ihr von 11:30 bis 13:00 bei uns vorbeikommen (Raum 01.141) für einen Brunch und uns von euren ersten Eindrücken erzählen. Das ist eine tolle Chance neue Leute kennenzulernen und auch mal mit uns ins Gespräch zu kommen. 😉
Am Abend seid ihr ab 19:00 herzlichst eingeladen, die berühmt und berüchtigte Bar Loco zu besuchen. 🥳. Wie heißt es so schön einmal Loco ist keinmal Loco und das muss man wenigsten einmal in Wien gemacht haben.
Freitag 06.10. – Semester Opening Party
Am Freitag startet unsere Semester Opening Party um 23:30 m Inc! 🥳

Hello everybody and welcome!
We as Stv I-BW are very happy to welcome you to our Faculty of Economic Sciences in beautiful Vienna! 😁
For many of you, this is the beginning of a new phase of life in a new city. As we know how difficult it is to find your way around at the beginning, we have planned a freshers‘ week with lots of activities for you, so that you can feel at home in Vienna and our faculty as soon as possible!
We have planned the following for you:
Monday 02.10. – Welcome Day – Impro Theater
Our faculty will organize a Welcome Day on Monday, where the faculty and its members (including us :)) will be introduced. This will take place from 9:00 a.m. first in HS14 and continues in the Sky Lounge (12 OG.). More information about the event can be found here: Welcome Day
Feel free to drop by if you have any questions or just enjoy the beautiful view with a cup of coffee 🙂
In the evening we offer you an impro-show at Operschall (Heiligenstädter Straße 31 at 19:30). Please note that the capacity is very limited due to the space, so we can only guarantee 50 fixed seats. Please register with this Google Form if you are interested and you are sure to be there!
We’ve negotiated a discount for you – if you get a band from us you only pay 5€ entry 😉
Tuesday 03.10. – Goodies and Speed Friending
After you’ve made it through your first lectures, we’ll be handing out goodie bags between 11 am and 11:30 am, both outside Lecture Hall 1 and by the stairs. Come quickly, as we will only be handing out goodies as long as we have them! But don’t worry if you can’t make it, there will be an alternate date.😁
Starting at 5pm we are organising a speedfriending for you! It gives you the chance to meet lots of new people 🙂 The event will take place at the Votivpark. We are looking forward to meet you!
Wednesday 04.10. – Alsergrund Challenge
You’ve made it through the first half of the first week! 🤩
Time to explore the Alsergrund! Start is at 15:30. You will be divided into groups and will explore the Alsergrund based on clues. The more questions you get right, the more points you get and at the end the winners will be crowned in the Sägewerk restaurant. Of course, the winners will also receive a prize from us. To participate, simply fill out the following Google Form:

Thursday 05.10. – Brunch & Loco
On Thursday you can come by for brunch from 11:30 am to 1 pm and tell us about your first impressions. It’s a great chance to meet new people and have a chat with us 😉 .
In the evening, it’s off to the famous and infamous Bar Loco from 7pm. As the saying goes, once a Loco is never a Loco and you have to do that at least once in Vienna 😀
Friday 06.10. – Semester Opening Party
On Friday our semester opening party starts again at 23:30 at Inc. 🥳
