Hallo zusammen und herzlich willkommen!
Wir als Stv I-BW freuen uns sehr euch an unserer Fakultät der Wirtschaftswissenschaften im schönen Wien willkommen zu heißen! 😁
Für viele von Euch beginnt ein neuer Lebensabschnitt in einer neuen Stadt. Wir wissen, wie schwer es ist, sich am Anfang zurechtzufinden und haben für euch eine Ersti-Woche mit vielen Aktionen geplant, damit ihr euch sobald wie möglich in unser Stadt und Fakultät wohlfühlen könnt!😉
Folgendes haben wir für euch geplant:
Montag 30.09. – Welcome Day & Speedfriending
Unsere Fakultät veranstaltet am Montag einen Welcome Day, wo die Fakultät und deren Glieder (darunter auch wir :)) vorgestellt werden. Dies findet ab 9:30 in der Sky Lounge (12 OG.) statt. Genauere Infos zu dem Event findet ihr hier: Welcome Day Kommt gerne vorbei, wenn ihr Fragen habt oder einfach die schöne Aussicht mit einer Tasse Kaffe genießen wollt.🙂
Um 13:00 veranstalten wir ein Speed-Friending Event in der Sky Loundge (12 OG). Dort werdet ihr die Möglichkeiten haben viele neue Leute aus eurem Studiengang kennenzulernen. 🤗
Dienstag 01.10. – Goodies & Pickwick’s
Am Dienstag werden wir die ertsen Goodie Bags verteilen. Auch die nächsten Tage werden Goodie Bags verteilt werden. Haltet also die Augen offen. 😉
Nachdem ihr eure ersten Vorlesungen überstanden habt möchten wir mit euch gemeinsam ab 19:30 im Pickwick’s am Schwedenplatz anstoßen 🙌🏼🍻 (Pickwicks, Marc-Aurel-Straße 10-12)
Wir laden euch zu einem gemütlichen Abend zum Plaudern, sich Kennenlernen und Bier-Pong spielen ein.🤗
Mittwoch 02.10. – Improtheater Show
Ihr habt die erste Hälfte der ersten Woche geschafft! Was wäre Wien ohne etwas Kultur und Unterhaltung?
Am Abend bieten wir euch daher eine Impro-Show im Café Area (Gonzagagasse 11 · 1010 Wien) um 19:00 Uhr an. Wir haben eine Ermäßigung für euch ausgehandelt! Wenn ihr euch ein Band bei uns holt zahlt ihr nur 7€ Eintritt. 😉 (Zahlung vor Ort in Bar)
Treffpunkt ist um 18:45 vor dem Area. Bitte beachte, dass die Kapazitäten begrenzt sind. Meldet euch daher bitte mit unserem Google Form an damit wir genügend Plätze für euch reservieren können. 🤩
Donnerstag 03.10. – Loco
Am Donnerstag geht es dann um 19 Uhr in die berühmt berüchtigte Loco Bar 😁 Eine Bar, wo die Getränkepreise mit jeder Stunde teuerer werden, Startpreis ist um 19 Uhr unter 2€ und steigt mit jeder Stunde um 1€, also früh da sein lohnt sich 🥳
Wie heißt es so schön einmal Loco ist keinmal Loco und das muss man wenigsten einmal in Wien gemacht haben. Wir treffen uns um 18:50 davor, freuen uns euch dort zu sehen 🙌🏼

Freitag 04.10. – Alsergrund Challenge
Nun wird es an der Zeit Alsergrund zu erkunden! Start ist um 16:00. Hierfür werdet ihr in Gruppen eingeteilt und werdet anhand von Hinweisen den Alsergrund erkunden. Je mehr Fragen ihr richtig habt, desto mehr Punkte gibt es und am Ende werden die Sieger im Restaurant Sägewerk gekürt. Natürlich bekommen die Sieger auch einen Preis von uns. Um teilnehmen zu können, füllt einfach folgendes Google Form aus.🤩
Und in der zweiten Oktober Woche gibt es am 11.10. unsere Opening Party in der Passage, mehr Informationen kommen bald! 😁

Hello everyone and welcome!
We as Stv I-BW are very happy to welcome you to our Faculty of Business Administration and Economics in beautiful Vienna! 😁
For many of you, a new phase of life in a new city is beginning. We know how difficult it is to find your feet at the beginning and have planned a Freshers‘ Week with lots of activities for you so that you can feel at home in our city and faculty as soon as possible!
We have planned the following for you:
Monday 30.09. – Welcome Day & Speedfriending
Our faculty is organising a Welcome Day on Monday, where the faculty and its members (including us :)) will be introduced. This will take place from 9.30am in the Sky Lounge (12th floor). You can find more information about the event here: Welcome Day Feel free to drop by if you have any questions or just want to enjoy the beautiful view with a cup of coffee. 🙂
At 13:00 we are organising a speed-friending event. There you will have the opportunity to meet lots of new people from your degree programme. The exact location will be announced soon.
We are looking forward to meeting you!
Tuesday 01.10. – Goodies & Pickwick’s
On Tuesday we will distribute the first goodie bags. Goodie bags will also be distributed over the next few days. So keep your eyes open 😉
After you have survived your first lectures, we would like to toast with you from 19:30 at Pickwick’s on Schwedenplatz 🙌🏼🍻 (Pickwicks, Marc-Aurel-Straße 10-12)
We invite you to a cosy evening of chatting, getting to know each other and playing beer pong 🤗
Wednesday 02.10. – Improv theatre show
You’ve made it through the first half of the first week! What would Vienna be without some culture and entertainment?
That’s why we’re offering you an evening improv show at Café Area (Gonzagagasse 11 – 1010 Vienna) at 19:00. We have negotiated a discount for you! If you get a ribbon from us, you only pay 7€ entrance fee 😉 (payment on site in cash)
Meeting point is at 18:45 in front of the area. Please note that capacities are limited. Please register using our Google Form so that we can reserve enough places for you. 🤩
Thursday 03.10. – Loco
On Thursday it’s off to the infamous Loco Bar at 7pm 😁 A bar where the drink prices get more expensive with every hour, starting price is under €2 at 7pm and increases by €1 with every hour, so it’s worth getting there early 🥳
As the saying goes, once a loco is never a loco and you have to do it at least once in Vienna. We’ll meet in front of it at 18:50, look forward to seeing you there 🙌🏼

Friday 04.10. – Alsergrund Challenge
Now it’s time to explore Alsergrund! The challenge starts at 17:00. You will be divided into groups and will explore Alsergrund based on clues. The more questions you get right, the more points you get and at the end the winners will be crowned in the Sägewerk restaurant. Of course, the winners will also receive a prize from us. To take part, simply fill out the following Google Form 🤩
And in the second week of October there will be our opening party in the Passage on 11 October, more information coming soon! 😁
